Speaking at a handover ceremony held today at the Ministry’s headquarters, Health Minister Khumbize Kandodo Chiponda expressed gratitude for a donation of laboratory medical supplies worth K200 million from the Government of Indonesia. She noted that the equipment will significantly enhance testing capacity in key locations across the country, stressing that early detection through improved testing is critical in managing and containing the outbreak.
Indonesia’s Consular, Tariq Kidy, stated that the donation underscores Indonesia’s commitment to global health security. He also commended Malawi for its proactive approach to strengthening public health systems and hailed the growing partnership between the two nations.
