Speaking during his stop-tour meetings in various parts of Karonga, Mwenifumbo promised that once elected, he will work to ensure that the communities have access to electricity, clean water, good roads, quality health centres, and improved school facilities, including the reconstruction of teachers’ offices.
“These areas are fortunate to be part of Karonga Central Constituency. Once I am elected as Member of Parliament, it will be my responsibility to help the people here. It is sad that after 61 years of independence, some areas in Karonga still have no electricity, piped water, or proper health centres,” he said.
