Organisers of Miss Culture Karonga 2026 have hailed sponsors and other stakeholders for their support towards the successful staging of the cultural beauty pageant at Karonga Museum Hall on July 31, 2026.
In a statement signed by one of the organisers, Jennifer Kabila, the organisers said the event was a success because of the commitment and support from sponsors, community members and other stakeholders.
Kabila said the support from the sponsors enabled the organisers to deliver a memorable event while providing a platform for young people to celebrate and promote their cultural heritage.
Kabila said the organisers remain committed to promoting Malawi’s rich cultural heritage and empowering young people in Karonga through initiatives that provide them with opportunities to showcase their talents and contribute to community development.
She said the organisers would continue working with different stakeholders to make future editions of Miss Culture Karonga bigger and more impactful.
Joyce Gondwe was crowned Miss Culture Karonga 2026 after competing against 11 other contestants. She will have opportunities to work with organisations on community development initiatives.
