Mwambo made these remarks during a joint tour with the Member of Parliament for Karonga Songwe, Mungasulwa Mwambande, as they inspected sites earmarked for bridge constructions along the Ighembe-Kitwika and Mwakamogho roads.

Mwambo added that inspecting targeted development areas helps ensure leaders do not listen blindly or rely solely on paperwork, as written project proposals can differ greatly from the actual realities on the ground where the developments are needed.

Mwambo assured the local residents that the grading of roads and the construction of bridges such as Kakolya, Kilambalele, and Mwakamogho, among others will begin soon utilizing funding from the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

Senior Chief Mwakaboko highly commended DC Willard Mwambo and Member of Parliament MungaiMwambande for organizing the tour to inspect these roads and it’s boosts confidence that the road and bridge works will actually be executed.

Speaking during the tour Mungasulwa Mwambande thanked DC Willard Mwambo for accepting his request to leave the office and personally inspect these roads.

Mwambande said that he requested the DC to join him on this road inspection so the administrator could witness the daily struggles faced by the people along the Ighembe-Kitwika and Mwakamogho routes a matter he had previously raised in the National Assembly.
